Today, grateful Tom offered to let Louis and I work on his patio and catch 15 mins of sun! / Today, I’m grateful for TechCrunch and finding this interesting map that shows me where all my friends are in the world… Intriguing… … … Though I have to say that looks pretty impressive. I love being a Global Nomad and TCK =D It has its perks =)  / Grilled aubergines = YUM! More please! x

Day 353: Lianne La Havas, Ziggy Marley, This reggae version of Katy Perry, Ashtanga with Sophie, These reminders, The day I receive my Yoga Alliance certification and The day #futureplanning is officially incorporated…

Surprisingly, quite a lot to be grateful for today! 😉 Here we go: Today, grateful I managed to catch Lianne La Havas‘ interview on BBC Breakfast. This chic is awesome. / Think Jamaica. Hear Jamaica. Do Jamaica in our meeting room all day. Awesome. I love working in here! / Especially when I’ve got Ziggy Marley singing about yoga, and Perfect singing about gangja with their reggae version of Katy Perry, blasting all day =D C-h-i-l-l-e-d… is what I am. / Ashtanga class with Sophie and learning to drop back and lift up completely evenly for a change, no hands and all on the breath. Awesome! / Today, is a very special day. And it wasn’t even meant to be. Or at least, I had no idea it would turn out this way. But remember this day. Because today, two very special things happened: 1) I got my official Yoga Alliance RYT 200 accreditation. 2) I found out #futureplanning has been officially incorporated. =D / It all just goes to show that 1) When you do work …

Don’t know where everyone was today but grateful to have Tim’s company at least =p Thanks buddy! x / Grateful I got to see Andrew today and that he seems to be doing well enough, all things considered! Who knew there was so much paperwork involved with teaching yoga! Oh well, nearly there… nearly there! =) / Hey wassup dawg? – It’s Friday bitch! … sigh… Sometimes I wonder about my sense of humour. Other days… I just accept I am the way I am and pictures like this make me laugh like there’s no tomorrow. I’m sorry about the language. But I’m not sorry about the way it makes …

Day 346: Mom’s Gratitude article, A walk through Finsbury Park, Being able to see these purple flowers, This picture of Sue, My local Superdrug and Pretending a country is my client…

“To say we feel grateful is not to say that everything in our lives is necessarily great. It just means we are aware of our blessings.” – My mom sent me this article from the Change Blog last week. I didn’t read it right away but I’m glad I saved it for today. Because it couldn’t have come more at a more opportune time. Grateful. / I loved my walk through Finsbury Park today and I really am glad it’s right at my doorstep. That… and Superdrug! Convenience is… well, convenient! =p / These purple flowers… I’m grateful I have eyes – and the time – to notice. As one of my favourite quotes from WH Davies goes, “What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare.” / Sue – lol, thanks for this! Good to see you’re having fun over there! / When you start to think about an entire country as a client… things get interesting =p My brain says thanks for the challenge.

Day 342: Brain scans, Catch-up with DJ, Jamaican economics, Sorting out my yoga insurance, Zoo Lates and Getting paid!

Grateful for my catch-up with DJ today… This photo was taken way back in 2006 when we were just finishing high school. Can’t remember what I said, but it must have been something along the lines of: “Hey Deej… guess what? One day, we gonna make it BIG!” 😉 What’s that you say? Oh. Oh yea… #futureplanning! 😉 / Been thinking a lot about Jamaica economics recently. Don’t ask me why. Just know that I’m grateful for the opportunity to learn about something other than chicken for a change! =p / Grateful for Yoga-Link and being able to sort out my insurance today =) Good to see #futureplanning Project #3 out of 4 is well under way =) / Nothing like hanging out at the Zoo (and watching a man stuff a condom up his nose!! =S) on a friday night 😉 Thanks Illy! =p x / I love pay day as much as I love chocolate. Hurray!!! Honestly, that felt like eternity! =/ =D / Today, I saw the first concrete part of my dream …

Day 284: Teamwork Breakdown, Pink and Burgen’s Soya & Linseed bread…

Thank you everyone at work for pulling together and helping me finish off the budget breakdown we so needed to get out the door today! I know it wasn’t the most inspiring of tasks, but your patience and cooperation were very much appreciated! / Pink – thank you for being ‘f*ckin perfect’ in your own way, and for your music, which has been coming in and out of my life since I was about 16! =) / Burgen Soya & Linseed bread = my most favourite bread in the world! = YUM! Grateful! =D

Day 271: Happy boss and happy clients, Fiona’s birthday lunch, DJ’s laugh, Hayfever and This new singing habit of mine…

Grateful for the end of another successful and productive business trip. As an Account Manager, there is nothing more rewarding than having a happy boss and a happy client. =) My work is done… (for now!) / Grateful for lunch at Bistro de la Gare with Fiona, Jo, Tim and Zahur. Short but sweet. I did not have the raclette this time but good to know I don’t have to go all the way to Borough Market to get some! / Thank you Deej and Dani for organising theatre tickets tonight. Hayfever was hilarious, and being at the theatre in general was such a nice treat. Now write this blog in the manner of the word… winsome! 😉 (awhhh shucks!) / DJ’s laugh. In all its variations… Grateful!! I think my favourite one is the one I call THUNDER. I tell you, when DJ laughs like this, you feel it vibrating around the cavern and in between all the ribs of your ribcage! Powerful stuff indeed! And scarily, mightily infectious! MUAHAHAHAHA. / So here’s the …

Day 270: NZCA/LINES, Beef with tofu, My big-ass computer screen, Steve Kamb and the Results-Oriented Approach…

Thank you, Jo, for introducing me to NZA/LINES. Good tunes for a Wednesday, I say! Favourites for today: Okinawa Channels and Compass points. “A sleek synthetic sound driven by a heart of human loneliness and longing… Seduced by psychology, spirituality, science fiction, Peruvian geoglyphs and forward-thinking RnB production, Michael Lovett’s arrival at gossamer synths-laden electro pop is a pleasing surprise amidst such eclecticism… Creating a world of dystopian landscapes, populated by lost souls and lost lovers, it’s a set that’s apocalyptic without needing any blockbuster dramatics to paint a bleak picture of a future full of roaming sentinels and desperate biomechanics.” – Reef Younis. Now if that doesn’t sell it, I don’t know what will! / (Soy) Beef with tofu = YUM. Who says you can’t have momma’s cooking when you’re a veggie? =p =D / Grateful for nights in and SATC + Anchorman reruns with Kat. Especially when you have big-ass computer screens to play them on in my room (Thanks LH!). I swear this is just like high school all over again. The funniest part was …
