Day 282: The Milky Way Tree, Ryvita with Moroccan Hummus, Every time my sister interrupts me at work and Corporate apologies…

To make a Milky Way Tree: warm a handful of fake (Quorn) chicken meat; chop and dice fresh, plump avocadoes; toss some fresh, crunchy spinach leaves; serve all together with a natural yoghurt and fresh lemon pepper sauce and voila! – you have just tasted a little bit of heaven… Grateful! / Ryvita with Moroccan hummus = YUM! / Every time my sister pesters and pings and pings and pesters to chat and to video skype at work… I am grateful. I mean, look at that face! How could I possibly resist?! =) / Thanks, C, for the formal apology. I’d rather ctrl + R though and start afresh =)

Grateful for the opportunity to teach my 3rd yoga class, and Illy for bringing her friend, Claire, along to join =) / Grateful for selling off my 2nd yoga mat. Not so much for the money, but more because every time someone comes up to me to pay for a yoga mat, that’s one more person that’s become serious about yoga and one more person I have, hopefully, and in some way, helped steer in the right direction. / Getting a class to go from this (image 1), to this (image 2) and possibly this (image 3) = one of the best things I love about teaching yoga so far… Bliss =) / Grateful for lunch with my two Vipassana meditating buddies and Dani. TV at last, hurray! / The Offering Chant, by Lama Gyurme, is without doubt one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Forget about trying to understand the lyrics and translation… Be open, be receptive, and the meaning will present itself to you as a very intimate, and very personal experience in the deepest recesses of your heart and soul. Decipher it by feeling, not by thinking. x

Day 276: The day I turned 25…

Today, I turned 25. I took a day off work and did all of the things I wanted to do and all of the things that make me happy. I went at my own pace and to anywhere and everywhere my heart and feet desired. I made more plans to solidify and fulfil my dreams. And the response was good. Today, I turned 25. I felt and received love and support, prayers and well wishes from all around the world. And my heart melted. Because when you turn 25, it’s an amazing feeling to realize what an wonderful family of souls you have in this universe. I couldn’t feel more blessed. And I couldn’t be more grateful. So, thank you.
